Patchy.... my new rescue kitty

This is our new addition to our family. Our neighbors did not want her anymore and could not take care of her so they just let her outside the whole summer. It started getting cold and she stuck around our house and adopted us so we returned the favor and adopted HER! We thought she was a male at first...but she turned out to be our 8lb baby girl who is about 1 year and 2 months old. We took her to the vet and had her all checked out. She is making herself at home and is getting to know her new brother and sister. Patchy and her brother, Boo Boos have had a few little spats but no fur flying, thank God! I think they will eventually get along (at least I hope so!).
She is sure a little sweetie!

  5. Aww, that's very sweet of you to take her in. Gotta love those torties..I have one myself. They say they have "torti-tude." Mine is very hyper, which is one of the things I like best about her. She makes me laugh.

Thanks for giving her a good home! I just let a stray in myself last week, LOL. Luckily, my 3 cats are not giving her a hard time, so it's all good!

  6. Oh what a sweet sweet kitty! So glad you rescued her! I have a kitty that was a stray that hung around all summer and then I had to bring him in when it started getting cold. We have had him for 7 years now, so I don't know exactly how old he is. But I can tell he is very thankful for providing him a loving warm home. Oh...and I have 4 cats.

  7. She's a sweetie, thank goodness she found you. Torties are normally female, I have one myself plus 5 more rescued kitties and they soon accepted each other, even if not all like each other!!! Good luck...Hugs Chrissy x

  11. Thanks everyone!!
Patchy is adjusting quite well in her new home. She thinks she owns the house. She is quite laid back and follows us around the house. She is doing well with my older female but her and my male - Boo Boos are still having some trouble getting along. I guess it just takes some time. Hopefully they will be best buddies after a while.
It is so nice to meet other fur lovers out there, lol!
