Early Style Snowman Doll

It has been a busy week for me and I am sure for all of you and the Holiday is almost here!! This Saturday will be our cookie baking day and shopping on Sunday. Hopefully this head cold will go away so I can enjoy the weekend ahead!! I wanted to get a couple items listed on Ebay but just managed to get this Early Style Snowman finished.

Two Old World Santa Dolls on Ebay

I decided to hibernate all weekend to get these two guys finished. Both Santas are made from a TFC Folk Art pattern. The brown Santa's coat is made from antique thick nubby material and the other Santas coat is made from an antiques wool blanket. They are both so prim looking! Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!!

We had our first snowfall of the year today!! It is still snowing and we are supposed to get a couple more inches here. I just love the first snowfall, it is so beautiful!! I love the way the snow clings to the trees and bushes and absolutely love the animal tracks you see in the snow. I would love to take a ride out in the country and do some photography, but I hate driving in it. Maybe next time and I will need a driver, lol!! These few pics are outside my front door.
